My passion and goal as a personal trainer is to help as many people as possible find their own enjoyment from fitness, build confidence through it and, most importantly, use it to enhance their health & wellbeing.

My journey started when I was young, competing in sports throughout my childhood and early teens. I chose not to continue with my sports and instead joined the gym to get my movement fix.

My Mental Outlet.

I think many people can relate when I say that I only truly realised how helpful movement is when I turned to it during tougher times. It was my mental outlet and I loved focusing on bettering myself and building my knowledge. I went through a lot of phases during my first few years of training, as I know many of us do. I know I’m not alone when I say the intentions behind the first phase of my journey were not on my health but on following trends and that led me to follow some poor habits for a few years.

Physical and Mental Health.

I have spent the last few years building my knowledge to help me curate my lifestyle and bring me to a point where I train for so many reasons, none of which involve taking away from myself. I have gone from overtraining and under-nourishing my body, to focusing on improving both my physical and mental health through movement. The benefits you will get from embarking on a fitness journey are endless; confidence, discipline, and strength, to name just a few. I look back and am sad for myself that I didn’t see fitness for what it was sooner, but grateful to now be in a position where I view it as a means of self-development and growth – and will continue to encourage and guide people to the same place!

Advice To My Younger Self.

As cliché as it sounds, the one piece of advice I give to everyone who asks, and the thing I wish I could have told my younger self, is to choose what makes you genuinely happy. I am so lucky to have turned my passion into my own project and career, and it is only through choosing to put my energy into things that I truly enjoy that I have managed to do so. That applies to every aspect of life; from training style and goals, how you spend your weekends, and even to career choice ..
